
City Clerk's Office
City Hall is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., Monday through Friday. If you need to get in touch with the
City Clerk's Office, please call 414-762-2222.
Anyone who needs to register to vote can
do so at the City Clerk's office prior to the election date or at the polling
place on the day of election with proper identification showing they have
resided in the election district for at least ten days prior to the election.
Anyone planning on being out of town on the election dates can make prior arrangements with the City Clerk's office to receive Absentee Ballots.

The City Clerk's Office, which is staffed by the city clerk, the deputy city clerk, two full-time clerks, and one part time office assistant, maintains all official records of the city, takes applications and issues licenses and various permits, administration of elections and voter registration are conducted in this office. Financial administration, including payroll, budget preparation, preparation of purchase requisitions and payment of bills received are performed by the city clerk in her/his capacity as city comptroller.
